Key CTFL automation concepts
Test automation architecture (TAA) — the structural design of the automation solution, defining layers, interfaces, and patterns.

CTFL is clear: automated tests can only find deviations from what they are explicitly programmed to check. A passing automated test suite does not mean the software is defect-free — it means the software behaves as the scripts expect. Human testers are still required to question those expectations.

"Automation improves test quality" is FALSE without qualification. Automating a poorly designed test produces automated bad results at speed. CTFL is explicit: automated test scripts require the same rigour in test design — correct expected results, appropriate inputs, and valid coverage — as manual tests.
